Mary Ann Elizabeth Fox

Leetonia – Mary Ann Elizabeth Fox, 73, of Leetonia, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning, March 20, 2016, at her home she shared with her grandson, Jason Ridgley.

She was born on December 30, 1942, to the late John and Ellen Brickner Barnett, in Harrisburg, PA.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Fox, on September 23, 2004, whom she married April 10, 1958.

Mary Ann is survived by her four daughters, Jodie Fox of Austintown, Jayne (Gary) Ridgley of Lisbon, Julie (David Mangie) Miller of New Middletown, Jessie (David) Miller of Salem; and her son, James (Jen) Fox of Toledo. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one step granddaughter, fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Lynn Taylor of Arizona and Sandy Boston of North Lima; a brother John Barnett of Tennessee; an aunt, Laura (Esther) Maloney of New Waterford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Harry and Tom Barnett; two sisters, Dolly Green and Susan Justison; and her great grandson, Isaiah.

Mary Ann was a retiree of General Motors of Lordstown. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the Slovak Club on Friday nights, crocheting gifts for her family, reading, playing games with her family on the computer and mostly just spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia. Burial will be in Washingtonville Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
