Mary A. Casey

Leetonia - October 2, 2005 -Mary A. Casey, age 91, formerly of Columbia Street died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday in the Assumption Village.

She was born Dec. 8, 1913 in Yugoslavia, daughter of John and Magdalena Stephan Reese.

She had lived in North Lima for 4-1/2 years coming from Leetonia OH.

She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death on January 14, 1958 by her first husband, Joseph DeSalvo, and on June 29, 1995 by her second husband, Edward J. Casey whom she married June 24, 1961.

Her caregiver and daughter-in-law, Lillian DeSalvo of Poland; a son, Joseph DeSalvo of Cincinnati; three sisters-in-law, Irene Graf, Agusta Graff and Hortenze Graff; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren survive her.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl DeSalvo; a sister, Marian Haus; three brothers, Jacob Graff, Frank Graff and Joseph Graf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Edward Brienz 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Leetonia.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home in Columbiana.
