Mary Ann Brosko

Columbiana- Mary Ann Brosko, age 90, of Columbiana, died on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center, New Middletown.

She was born on March 29, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Zetts Halas Sr.

Mary Ann was a lifetime are resident and had worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed singing, flowers and gardening. She was always young at heart and was a "real comedian".

Her husband, Joseph M. Brosko whom she married on June 24, 1950, preceded her in death on March 3, 1998.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Lofaro of Boardman, and Bonnie Guy of Columbiana; a son, James Brosko of Boardman; a sister, Veronica Baytos of Austintown; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Brosko, Jr. and three brothers, John, George and Mike Halas.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Thomas officiating.

Burial will be at the Resurrection Cemetery, Youngstown.
