Mary Louise Andersen

Columbiana - Mary Louise Andersen, 92, of Columbiana, died at 7:33 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Parkside Healthcare Center.

Mrs. Andersen was born June 8, 1919 in Donora, PA, a daughter of the late Irvin and Opal M. Sprowls Glace and had lived here since 1987, coming from Westminister, SC.

She had been employed as a customer service representative for the First National Bank, Venice, FL, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown.

Her husband, Robert G. Andersen, whom she married June 25, 1937 died July 14, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ann (Eugene M.) Potesta of Columbiana; a step sister, Isabel Kopp of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul F. Andersen and a brother, Robert S. Glace, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown, with the Reverend Peter DelNagro officiating. Interment will be in Sarasota Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

Memorial tributes may be made to either the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church or Hospice of the Valley. Arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
