Martha Lehman

Columbiana – Martha Frances Lehman, 84, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Akron General Medical Center following a short illness.

Mrs. Lehman was born April 20, 1932 in Dayton, Virginia, the daughter of Merle and Annie Rhodes Witmer. She worked as a self-employed caregiver in the area for many years and was a member of the Salem Mennonite Church, Leetonia.

Martha is survived by two brothers, Amos (Wilda) Witmer of Mount Crawford, VA and Jacob (Emma) Witmer of New Holland PA; two sisters in law, Mary Witmer of Columbiana and Lena Witmer of Dayton, VA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Lehman, four brothers, Walter, Daniel, Harry and Carl Witmer; and a sister, Elsie Nason.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at Salem Mennonite Church, 40725 Lodge Road, Leetonia, OH 44431 with the Salem Ministry officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Leetonia.

Friends may call at the Salem Mennonite Church from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.
