Mark Alan Chellis
Leetonia-February 28, 2011-Mark Alan Chellis, 59, of Leetonia, died at 8:04 a.m. Monday at Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Chellis was born August 20, 1951 in Salem, a son of Robert W. and Viola M. Crider Chellis.
He had been a line shop supply specialist for First Energy for 26 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Mark was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Allen Lodge #276 F & AM of Columbiana.
Besides his mother of Columbiana, he is survived by his wife, the former Judy McNally, whom he married August 10, 1974; a son Todd R. (Bethaney) Chellis of Leetonia; a sister, Carol (Charles) Rupert of Columbiana and a granddaughter, Grace Chellis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
