Mariam H. Claybaugh

Columbiana - February 26, 2005 - Miriam H. "Tootie" Claybaugh, 80, of Duncansville, PA, formerly of Columbiana, OH, died at 10:39 a.m. Saturday at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Campus, Altoona, PA.

Mrs. Claybaugh was born March 2, 1924 in Columbiana, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ernest and Laura A. Horn Gustafson and had live in Pennsylvania 1 1/2 years, coming from Columbiana.

She had been employed as a hostess and waitress for various restaurants in the Columbiana area. She was a member of the Grace United Church, Columbiana.

Her first husband, John Bell, whom she married in 1956 died in 1979. She is survived by her husband, Dale Claybaugh, whom she married April 26, 2003; a stepdaughter, Beth Thomas of Roaring Spring, PA; a stepson, Thomas Claybaugh of Roaring Spring, PA; a sister, Betty Blair of Mobile, AL and a brother, Edward (Helen) Gustafson of Columbiana and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Howard Gustafson is also deceased.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend Jim Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rogers. There are no calling hours.
