Margaret Deloris Kurtz

Columbiana February 7, 2004 - Margaret Deloris Kurtz, age 77, of 230 North Pearl Street died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the Parkside Health Care Center.

She was born Aug. 29, 1926 in Clarkson, daughter of Sylvester and Jane McCoy Dyke and had lived in Columbiana for most of her life.

Mrs. Kurtz had been a saleslady for Sheely's Furniture & Appliances for 20 years.

She was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Her husband, David Kurtz, whom she married May 24, 1947, died December 21, 2003.

She is survived by two sons, John D. Kurtz of Salem and Jerry A. Kurtz of North Lima; three sisters, Mrs. Zelma Russell, Mrs. William (Ola) Russell and Mrs. Voldemars (Thelma) Apinis; and two grandsons, Joseph and Justin Kurtz. Three sisters, Erma Dyke, Zelda Gaston and Helen Keslar and a brother, George Glenn Dyke, preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Clarence Mansfield, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
