East Palestine - Margaret Louise Claypool, 91, of Alice Street, died at 2:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Greenbriar in Boardman.

Mrs. Claypool was born May 25, 1920 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Nell Huston Hull and had lived in this area all of her life.

She had been a clerk at the former J. J. Newberry 5 & 10 for several years and also was an antique dealer. She loved to read and crochet and was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Marlin K. Claypool, whom she married May 10, 1941 died January 24, 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy (William) Sutherin of East Palestine; two sons, Keith R. (Helen) Claypool and Dennis A. (Madeline) Claypool, both of East Palestine; and five grandchildren.

A brother, Robert Hull is also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine where friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery.
