Marcia L. Beckner

Columbiana - Marcia L. Beckner, age 69 of Columbiana, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on November 20, 1946, in Salem, a daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Firestone Holloway.

Marcia was a graduate of Columbiana High School and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Leetonia. She had worked as the office manager for Donnell Ford, Boardman for 30 years. She was instrumental in the organization of St. Paul’s participation in Relay For Life and the Donnell Ford golf outing. Marcia enjoyed spending her time outdoors, but mostly, she enjoyed spending her time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Lita) Himes of Columbiana; two sisters, Kathy (Jim) Vannoy of Bardstown, KY and Beverly (Robert) Washabaugh of Columbiana; her beloved granddaughter, Jessica Lee Himes and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.

Burial will be at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
