Leetonia - December 7, 2007 - Madalene T. Orincsak, 92, of 38017 Old SR 344, died Friday at 12:57 p.m. at the Salem Community Hospital.
Mrs. Orincsak was born May 29, 1915 in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Theresa Neiheisel Walzer and had lived in this area all of her life. She had been employed in the office of Dr. Dardo Torti in Salem for 18 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a lifetime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church where she was baptized, received her first communion, confirmed, graduated from grade school and married. She was active in the church Mothers Club, the Altar and Rosary Society, the LCBA, and the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Association. She was a graduate of Leetonia High School and was also a member of the Salem Bird Club, the National Audubon Society and the National Parks Conservation. She loved her craftwork, gardening, and also loved to travel throughout the United States and Europe.
Her husband, John J. Orincsak, whom she married July 2, 1935 died July 28, 1971.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Teresa) Simonds of Leetonia, Patricia Dattilio of Columbiana, and Mrs. David (Peggy) Wilkinson of North Canton; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
A son, John N. Orincsak and a grandson, Christopher Orincsak are also deceased.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia from 5-8 p.m. on Monday.
