Lyritt Metrue Danford Enlow

Columbiana - Lyritt Metrue Danford Enlow, age 88, formerly of Vermilion, OH and Hampstead, NC, died on May 3, 2017 in New Middletown, OH.

She was born April 23, 1929 in Chadbourn, North Carolina daughter of the late Abrum and Lizzie Page Danford.

Lyritt was a homemaker and attended the Methodist Church in Hampstead, NC.

She was an avid gardener and belonged to many garden clubs. Lyritt enjoyed boating, bird watching, babysitting, traveling, and taking part in activities at the Hampstead Senior Center.

Her husband Robert K. Enlow, Sr., whom she married April 23, 1949 preceded her in death on April 5, 1990.

Lyritt is survived by her son, Harry R. (Ardith) Enlow, II of Vermilion; two step-sons, Robert K. (Martha) Enlow, Jr. of Columbiana and Gary L. Enlow of Elyria; two sisters, Sam Dylah Danford Smith of Wilmington, NC and Northena Quaith Danford Adams of Supply, NC; a granddaughter, Erica (Daniel) Enlow Radden and three great grandchildren, Hannah Joy Radden, Julia Grace Radden and Lydia Faith Radden. She is also survived by seven step grandchildren, Mary Jo, Richard, Rodney, Donna, Dawn, Gregory, and Jeffrey and eleven step great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eighteen brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Church of the Open Door, Vermilion Campus.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Church of the Open Door, Vermilion Campus officiated by Pastor Robert Gardener.

In Columbiana, the family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Rick Enlow officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lyritt's name to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH 44131.
