"TOGETHER AGAIN"
Leetonia-Lucille M. Ewing, 88, of Waddell Street, passed away at 6:30 pm, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Ewing was born June 18, 1926 in Salem, a daughter of Carl and Bertha Adams Varian and had lived in this area all of her life.
Lucille was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia.
Her husband, William Ewing, whom she married June 5, 1948, died July 22, 1994.
She is survived by five daughters, Kathy (John) Moretz, Sue (Robert) Marshall and Lucy (John) Rohrer all of Leetonia, Cindy (Steve) Svetlovics of Swansboro, NC and Patty (Bill) Bingham of Salem; eight sons, William Ewing and his companion Mary of Milwaukee, WI, Mike (Christel) Ewing of Lisbon, Robert (Melinda) Ewing, Tom Ewing of Salem, James Ewing, Daniel Ewing, Matthew Ewing all of Leetonia and Rex Ewing of Canfield; twenty three grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Varian, a brother, Carroll (Bud) Varian and a great grandson, Joshua Howell.
Private funeral services will be held and burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
