Lucille Campbell

New Waterford- Lucille Campbell, age 75, of New Waterford, died on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.

She was born on March 27, 1940 in Richmond, VA, a daughter of the late George Washington Smith and Leoda C. McKinney Smith.

Lucille had worked as a caregiver at the Commons at Greenbriar in Boardman for 12 years. She enjoyed sewing and was a fabulous seamstress. She had a heart of gold and devoted her life to caring for others. She is survived by her husband, Carl J. Campbell I, whom she married on December 29, 1972; three daughters, Patricia See of New Waterford, Cindy (Thomas) Fabich of New Castle, PA, and Nickie (Bob) Keagy of Columbiana; a son, Dave (Amber) Smith of New Waterford; a sister, Bettye Robbbins of Baltimore, MD; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two step-daughters.

Lucille was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Muse and Wilma Finley; two brothers, Bill and Bob Smith and by a step-son.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Karl Rein, Chaplain, Harbor Light Hospice officiating.

Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
