New Waterford May 28, 2004 - Louise G. Webber, age 87, of 46333 Carter Road died at 4:05 p.m. Thursday in Parkside Health Care Center, where she had been a patient for one week.
She was born June 15, 1916 in Fairfield Township, daughter of George and Pearl Houlette Garrod and had lived in New Waterford for most of her life.
Mrs. Webber was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was also an avid quilter and loved gardening and her flowers.
Her husband, Floyd (Fritz) Wilson Webber whom she married November 23, 1933, preceded her in death January 28, 1977.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Betty Stoffer of Leetonia, Shirley Cusick of New Waterford, Mrs. Dwight (Evelyn) Gibson of Leetonia and Mrs. James (Lorre) Kress of Salem; two sons, Bud (Phyllis) Webber of New Waterford and Larry (Denise) Webber of New Waterford; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Edith) Ward of New Waterford and Mrs. Darren (Dorothy) Whitacre of Leetonia; one brother John (Betty) Carter of Lebanon, IL, 24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A daughter, Norma Cusick; three brothers, Wilbur Garrod, Henry Garrod and George Garrod; and a sister, Mary Flowers, preceded her in death
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitchael Hennessey officiating. Burial will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home.
