Lorene Wynings Goughenour

Lorene Wynings Goughenour, age 78, formerly of Columbiana-Lisbon Road died at 6:15 p.m. Monday in the Parkside Health Care, where she had resided for the past three years.

A Columbiana resident most of her life, she was born May 9, 1927 in Charleston WV, daughter of Hobart and Naomi Slater Bailey.

She was preceded in death by Clifford Wynings, Jr. on May 8,1967, whom she married May 24, 1946 and by Walter C. Goughenour, on June 4, 1990, whom she married April 17, 1971.

She was happiest in life being a wife, mother and homemaker, and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Kathleen) Wilson of Columbiana; a son, Gary K. Wynings of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; three sister, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Miller of Hemitt, CA, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Gillispie of Nitro, WV, Mrs. Clifford (JoAnn) Muck of Poca, WV; a brother, Otis Bailey of Gallipolis; and two granddaughters, Kelly Sigle of Ames, IA and Wendy Sigle-Rushton of London England.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Tyrone Fink, minister officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
