Lonnie L. Spears
New Waterford-Lonnie L. Spears, 41, of Taylor Ave. died suddenly Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Center Boardman Campus.
Mr. Spears was born June 10, 1972 in Salem, a son of Charles and Linda Hogue Spears and had lived in this area all of his life.
Lonnie worked as a home care aide for Threshold. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine. He loved to paint statues and had a great sense of humor always joking with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Spears of New Waterford; two sisters, Christina (Kent) Baker and Lori Garrett both of New Waterford; a brother, Charles (Giovanna) Spears, Jr. of Gaithersburg, MD; his fiancAC., Marnie Noel of East Palestine, Marnie's daughter, Brandie Cook, and grandson, Jayden Cook and Marnie's son, Anthony Cook; two nieces, four nephews and one great niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Spears.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the First Church of Christ, East Palestine with James Ostick, Minister officiating. Friends will be received from 10-11 am Tuesday at the church.
