Lois L. Lawrence

Columbiana – Lois L. Lawrence, 97, of Columbiana, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Whispering Pines Village, Columbiana.

Mrs. Lawrence was born August 27, 1917 in Niles, OH, a daughter of the late Jay and Lena Philips Bauman. She was a 1936 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and married Hubert Lawrence on March 7, 1941. They moved to Columbiana in 1960 where her husband died January 31, 2012 after 70 years of marriage. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana.

She is survived by a son, Allan Lawrence of Columbus, OH; a granddaughter, Julie (Dr. Ron) Ambrosia of Columbus; and two great grandchildren, Morgan Ambrosia and Ronald Ambrosia, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Whispering Pines Village, 937 East Park Avenue, Columbiana with Pastor Fritz Nelson of the church officiating. Private burial will take place in Columbiana Cemetery.

If friends desire, material tributes may take the form of a donation to the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana.
