Lois V. Justice

Columbiana December 6, 2007 -Lois V. Justice, age 86, formerly of Park Place died at 5:10 p.m. Thursday in the Essex #2.

She was born March 14, 1921 in East Palestine, daughter of Hosea R. and Zelda M. Keller Peppel and had lived in Columbiana for most of her life.

She was a member of the First Friends Church at Salem and the Philathea Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death on December 15, 1996 by her husband, James M. Justice whom she married March 10, 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Gary L. Scullion and Alan J. Scullion, both of Columbiana; four step sons, Theodore Justice of Lock Haven PA, Timothy Justice of Astabula, James T. Justice of Ignacio CO, and Tracy Justice of Camano Island WA; a step daughter, Mrs. Hans (Karen) Scherner of Delaware; a sister, Gladys Melnick of Boardman; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Thomas.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Fowler of the First Friends Church and the Pastor Douglas DeMar, Chaplain of Essex of Salem #2 officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Friends Church or Hospice of the Valley.
