Logan Jay Benner
Salem - May 9, 2005 - Logan Jay Benner, age 2, of 7299 Salem-Unity Road died at 4:40 p.m. Monday in the Salem Community Hospital following a lifelong battle with Leigh's Syndrome.
He was born May 16, 2002 in Salem, son of Jason D. and Jennifer L. Winwood Benner.
Logan is survived by his parents; two sisters, Reagan Benner and Alexis Benner, both at home, a brother Brady Benner at home; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Charles (Sheila) Thiry of Leetonia and Joseph (Karen) Winwood of Girard, paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Anne Benner of Columbiana; maternal great grandparents, Benny and Sarah Janutolo of New Middletown and Barbara Ludwick of Boardman; paternal great grandparents, Betty Barkley of New Waterford and Dorothy Mossor of Columbiana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Hal Haire officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Mennonite Cemetery, Columbiana.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
