Linda Gail Bayne

East Palestine, OH-September 27, 2009-Linda "Lindy" Gail Bayne, 64, formerly of E. Main Street, died at 11:37 p.m. Sunday at Hospice House, Poland.

Ms. Bayne was born April 12, 1945 in Beaver Falls, PA, a daughter of the late Richard E. and Esther Ruth Coast Bayne and had lived in the area for over 30 years. Lindy had worked at the former Plaza Restaurant, East Palestine, OH.

She is survived by four sisters, Jean Murphy of Canton, Esther Ruth (Ernie) Blythe of Columbiana, Mary Ann Estermyer of Beaver Falls, PA and Carol Kain of East Palestine; and many nieces and nephews.

Lindy was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis R. Bayne.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Chaplain Linda Cormany officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls, PA. Friends may call from 11:00a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Aziz and his staff; East Liverpool Hospital and Hospice of the Valley, Boardman for all of their special care for Lindy.
