Lillian Adams Ward

Lancaster – Lillian Adams Ward, 96, of Lancaster, OH, died June 12, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was born August 4, 1921 in Minnesota, a daughter of the late Isaac and Edith Stump Gehron.

Lillian grew up in Montezuma and graduated from Celina High School in 1939. She was a member of Grace Church, Columbiana, the Daughters of the Nile and the Lotus Shrine Guild of Fort Myers Florida. Lillian loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Owen Edward Adams, Sr., whom she married, May 3,   1941; he died June 26, 1987.

Lillian leaves behind her husband, Fred Arthur Ward, whom she married, August 24, 1991; a daughter, Kay (Ron) Pashby of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Owen “Buck” (Cassie) Adams of Hebron and Mike (Kathy) Adams of Mesa, AZ; two step-children, James (Patti) Ward of Stow and Jean (James) Harral of Circleville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (John) Smith of Celina, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Grace Church, Columbiana with Reverend Dr. Robert Joy officiating. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will take place at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina with Pastor Karen Tamorria officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Church, 140 S Main St. Columbiana, OH 44408.
