Lex Rebecca "Becky" Cooper

Canfield - Lex Rebecca "Becky" Cooper, 71, of Canfield, formerly of Columbiana, died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley, Boardman.

Mrs. Cooper was born April 26, 1942 in Wellsville, a daughter of the late Charles S. and Margaret A. McClain Faris and had lived in Canfield the past two years, coming from Columbiana. She was a self employed cosmetologist in Columbiana for several years. Mrs. Cooper was a former member of the First Christian Church of Columbiana and recently had attended the Old North Baptist Church, Canfield.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth L. (Melissa) Cooper of Canfield; a brother, Charles Rhee Faris of Guilford Lake; and seven grandchildren, Ashley Levin, Keith Cooper, Hannah Cooper, Claudia Cooper, Isabella Cooper, Syrus Cooper, and Sophia Cooper.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Rebecca Cooper and a sister, Jo-Ann Welch.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Spring Hill Cemetery Chapel, Wellsville with Pastor Chris Drombetta officiating. Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, from 4-7 p.m. on Friday. Memorial tributes may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Angels for Animals.
