Darlington, PA-November 8, 2011-Lewis P. "Buck" Black, 64, of Black Dr. died at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Black was born February 9, 1947 in Cannelton, PA, a son of Norman and Lucille Graham Black and lived in Darlington all of his life.

Buck was a welder and pipe fitter for the former Babcock and Wilcox in Beaver Falls and was currently working for Penn State Metal. He was a life time member of the NRA and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Buck was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his long time companion, Martha "Marti" Dripps, three sons, Brian Black and Robert Black both of Beaver Falls, PA and Lewis Oyler of Bedford, PA; three sisters, Doris Kiger of East Liverpool, OH, Delores "Sis" Rae of White Township, PA and Jean Best of Seward, PA; two brothers, Wallace Black of East Palestine, OH and Norman "Frank" Black of Raccoon Township, PA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Archibald Black.

Buck will be sorely missed by his family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH with Dr. Keith Black officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
