Leland Robert Stanonik

Columbiana, OH-Leland Robert Stanonik, 87, of Columbiana died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

Mr. Stanonik was born June 24, 1925 in New Waterford a son of the late Cecil and Martha Macek Stanonik.

Mr. Stanonik worked as a truck driver and was a member of the New Springfield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

His wife, the former Elza Gwin, whom he married November 29, 1944, died March 2, 2002.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara StoltenBerg and Sharron Krebs; a sister, Martha June Pine; and two brothers, Cecil and Vernon Stanonik.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at the New Springfield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Arrangements were handled by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
