East Palestine, OH-February 20, 2007-Lonnie "Hutch" Hutchison, age 58, of 255 Alice Street, East Palestine, OH died at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday at the Medical Center in Beaver, PA after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
Hutch was born May 20, 1948 in New Brighton, PA, a son of the late Wayne and Mary Paes Hutchison and had lived in East Palestine, OH the past 1 A½ years. He had lived in the Koppel, PA area and before that was a bartender for the Cape May Lewes Ferry in Lewes, Delaware and the R-Bar in Las Vegas, NV. He was a 1966 graduate of New Brighton High School and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was an avid sports fan of all sports and teams.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane (Angel) and her husband Steve along with his grandchildren, Brandon and Allison of Las Vegas, NV; his son, Daniel Hutchison of San Francisco, CA; two sisters, Dolly (Mean Mary) and her husband Pete Magliocca of New Castle, PA and Barb and her husband Don Shuler of Beaver Falls, PA; three brothers, Martin Hutchison of New Brighton, PA, his very special brother, James Hutchison of New Castle, PA and Dutch and his wife Janie of Darlington, PA; a special niece and best friend, Yvonne (Bad Mary) Hill; many nieces and nephews and his good friends, Rick, Dave, Nick and Dudley.
A brother Wayne Hutchison preceded in him death.
Private services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, OH with his nephew Michael Hutchison officiating where a time of private gathering will be held from 11a.m.-1:00 p.m. Hutch wants everyone to remember to live life, be happy and have fun.
