Laura Ann Mraz

Alexandria, VA- Laura Ann Mraz. 59, passed away at 10:00 am, Monday, April 13, 2015 at her home following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Laura was born February 13, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Louise E. Schmaedecke Mraz. She grew up in Cincinnati and has spent the past 30 years in the DC area working as a project manager on various projects for the Department of Defense.

Recently she was active with an area Toastmaster’s Club and was a member of Project Management Institute, Washington, DC Chapter.

Laura is survived by her brother, Lawrence A. “Tony” Mraz of Cincinnati and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Per her request, a Celebration of Life gathering was held at her home in July.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
