Larry H. Zimmerman

Columbiana, Saturday, December 9 - Larry H. Zimmerman, 68, of 144 Bittersweet Drive died of cancer at 1:35 a.m. at his residence.

He was born in Salem on March 29, 1938 , son of Homer and Catherine Shearer Zimmerman and had lived in Columbiana all of his life.

Larry had been a machinist for 37 years at the former N R M Corporation in Columbiana.

He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, The Joe Williams Post #131 American Legion in Leetonia and the Benjamin Firestone Post #290 American Legion In Columbiana.

Surviving are his wife, the former Judy Justice whom he married September 6, 1958; two daughters, Mrs. Clay (Tina) Putnam of Crown Point IN and Mrs. Robert (Lana)Salvino of Westerville; a son, Cass H. Zimmerman of Manassas VA; four sisters, Mrs. LaNorman Shirey, Mrs. Robert (Vivian) Wenderoth, Mrs. Gerald (Jane) Garrity and Mrs. Darrell (Joan) Gaskill, all of Columbiana and three grandchildren, Joseph Salvino, Cole Putnam and Adisen Putnam.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Cross.

The Rev. W. David H. Conrad will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

Friends may call 6:30-8:30 p.m.. Monday in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
