L. Jay Holloway

Salem - L. Jay Holloway, 71, of Salem, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Salem Regional Medical Center of a heart attack.

Mr. Holloway was born on January 1, 1945 at Salem Hospital, a son of the late Lloyd and Wilma (Patterson) Holloway.

He was a 1963 graduate of Leetonia High School and had worked in the states and abroad as a construction manager and steel mill consultant for 45 years.

Jay leaves behind his wife, Nancy S. Anderson, whom he married April 19, 1975; three sons, Daniel J. Holloway of Alliance, Scott (Leslie) Bryant of Ft. Myers, Craig Bryant of Salem; two daughters, Wendy S. (Fritz) Rukenbrod of East Palestine and Heather L. Madison of Leetonia; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry Holloway of Salisbury, MD and Gail Holloway of Lisbon.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-12 noon on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia.
