Kenneth R. Wilms

New Martinsville, WV - Kenneth R. Wilms, 59 of New Martinsville, WV, formerly of Columbiana, OH went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015.

He was born June 2, 1955 in Kansas City, MO, the son of the late John H. and Mary Ellen Meiser Wilms. He was employed at G4S as a security guard at the AEP power plant in Moundsville, WV. He was a member of the Agape Christian Church in Paden City, WV. Kenny love to swim and ride his bicycle. He was a friend to all and loved by many.

He is survived by four brothers, John H. (Mary Ruth) Wilms, Jr. of Sun City West, AZ, Merwyn (Dena) Garwood of Columbiana, OH, Bill Wilms of Columbiana, OH and Ed (Judy) Wilms of Columbiana, OH; three sisters, Patty (Jerry) Cullison of Evansville, IN, Lois (Tom) Wells of Sistersville, WV, and Barbara Wilms, of New Martinsville, WV. In addition, he leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 23rd, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana, OH from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with the funeral immediately following with Pastor Kari Lankford from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Leetonia, OH officiating. His final resting place will be in the East Fairfield Cemetery.
