New Waterford - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Moore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on December 27, 2024, at the age of 80.

Born on April 21, 1944, in Salem Ohio.  Kenny lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to his family. A pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support, he was the heart of his family and a constant source of joy and wisdom to all who knew him.

As a husband, Kenny was the embodiment of devotion, sharing 47 years of marriage with his loving wife, Gail. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories, navigating life's highs and lows with a deep and abiding love for one another. The special bond they shared was unbreakable, Gail was so strong at the end and took amazing care of him, like no one else could have.

As a father and grandfather, Kenny was patient, and ever-present. He was proud of his children and took great pride in watching them grow, always encouraging them to follow their dreams while providing a safe and loving home.  His love for his children was boundless, and he made countless sacrifices to ensure they were provided for, loved, and supported in all their endeavors.

Beyond his family, Kenny was a friend to many and a mentor to those lucky enough to know him. He had a gentle way of bringing people together, a quiet strength that made others feel heard and valued, and a heart that was always open to others. He believed in the power of kindness and lived by the values of integrity, honesty, and respect for others.

Kenny had many interests and passions that enriched his life, including music and the country band he led “The Bandits.” He also had a unique gift for playful banter often delighting family and friends with his lighthearted teasing (that he refined from working at Ohio Edison) that brought laughter and joy (if you were not on the receiving end) to every family gathering. Whether it was boating or traveling with Tori and Mitchell, or simply spending time piddling in his Man Cave Garage with his neighbors, he found joy in the little things in life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Biggins Moore; his children, Ron (Michele) Moore, Steve Moore, Terri (Jim) Flowers and Sherri (Mike) Zibaila; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many dear friends, extended family members, and countless others whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity. He is also survived by his faithful cat “Gabby” who brought so much joy and fun.

Special thanks to Brea and Tavia who passionately provided tremendous medical treatment and loving care for over 6 months, we are forever grateful for your loving care.

Kenny was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lawrence Moore and Lois Randolph-Moore.  Kenny loved his mom and dad and never missed a week of playing Euchre, Lawrence and Kenny took pride in beating Lois and Gail on a regular basis.

Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Kenny Moore will be forever remembered for his boundless love, his wisdom, and his enduring impact on all who knew him.

Per Kenny’s wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
