Kenneth Hick

East Palestine - April 12, 2006 - Kenneth E. "Gene" Hick, age 71, died Wednesday at his home.

Gene was born September 28, 1934 in Salem, a son of the late Kenneth R. and Nellie May Hick and had lived in East Palestine all of his life. He had been employed as a clerk at various retail stores in the area.

He is survived by his brother, James (Janice) Hick of Maricopa, AZ.

Private burial will take place in Glenview Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a time of remembrance and fellowship at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall at the First United Presbyterian Church in East Palestine.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to the Counseling Center, P. O. Box 429, Lisbon, OH 44432. Funeral arrangements were made by the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine.
