Kenneth Earl Gumbel

Rogers - Kenneth Earl Gumbel, age 85, of Rogers, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center, Salem.

He was born on May 12, 1939, in Salem, OH, son of the late Otto and Elizabeth Klepfer Gumbel.

Kenneth had worked as a farmer throughout his life and was a strong-willed man who cared deeply for his family. Kenneth was a loving husband and an amazing father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, the former Lynda Jane Hawk, whom he married on August 27, 1957; three daughters, Barbara (Kevin) Farmer of Rogers, Debbie (Rob) Cable of Rogers and Mary (James) Ash of Waskom, TX; four grandchildren, Tyler (Hannah) Farmer, Jason (Jessica) Cable, Maggie Ash, Wyatt (Kenzie Looper) Ash; five great grandchildren, Lane Farmer, Hadley Farmer, Trenton Cable, Levi Cable, Grayson Ash; .

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Sue Gumbel, two sisters, Cora Raley and Gladys Vale and two brothers, Thomas Gumbel and Howard Gumbel.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Jim Rhodes officiating.

Burial will take place at East Carmel Cemetery.
