Kenneth H. Gamble

North Lima - Kenneth H. Gamble, 76, of 13595 Market Street, died at 7:23 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Hospice House, Poland following a long illness.

Mr. Gamble was born October 2, 1935 in Black Lick, PA, a son of the late Kenneth and Edna Forsha Gamble and had lived in this area most of his life. He served in the US Army in Germany and had been employed as a truck driver for Dart Trucking, Canfield for over 30 years. Ken enjoyed working around the house and riding his motorcycle, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great granddaughter. Ken's life has made the world a better place.

He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Columbiana.

His is survived by his wife, the former Janet M. Wise, whom he married April 19, 1958; two sons, Tim A. (Tammy) Gamble of North Lima and Todd A. Gamble of New Waterford; a granddaughter whom he raised as his own, Nicole Gamble of North Lima; a great granddaughter, Mackenzi Gamble; two brothers, Robert (Juanita) Gamble of Columbiana and Gerald (Janelou) Gamble of Winona; and three sisters, Dolores (Richard) Helman of Columbiana, Betty (Al) Pittman of Coulterville, CA, and Debbie (Dave) Scyoc of Leetonia.

Two brothers, Jim Gamble and Bill Gamble are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Church of the Nazarene, Columbiana with Pastor Jan Winnale officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
