Kay Frances Greenwood

Columbiana - May 19, 2010 - Kay Frances Greenwood, 61, of 170 Lucretia Lane, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday at her home.

Mrs. Greenwood was born September 1, 1948 in Salem, a daughter of Corum and Frances Hollenbaugh Manzi and had lived in Columbiana for seven years, coming from Rogers.

She was a paraprofessional educator for Beaver Local School District for ten years, retiring in March 2009. Kay was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Rogers.

Besides her parents of New Waterford she is survived by her husband, Joseph Wayne Greenwood, whom she married October 25, 1969; two sons, William Joseph (Rebecca) Greenwood of Austintown and Scott Allan (Susan) Greenwood of Wilmington, DE; two brothers, Gary (Sue) Manzi of Columbiana and Robert (Patty) Manzi of New Waterford and two grandchildren, Sydney Nicole Greenwood and Claire Elizabeth Greenwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Reverend Joanne Dota officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
