Kathi Sue (Hoffman) Whitehead

Kathi Sue Whitehead, age 56, of Salem, died on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on November 17, 1968, in Fort Leonard Wood, MO, a daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Handschy Hoffman.

Kathi was a graduate of Salem High School and dedicated most of her time to raising her family.  She was an amazing cook and baker who enjoyed reading and visiting the local fairs and festivals.

She is survived by her children, Michael Reeves of Washington, Lily J. Whitehead and Rachael Whitehead both living at home; her companion, Blaine Richie of Salem; her 2nd husband, Keith Whitehead of Salem, and a sister, Lisa of Texas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with location and times to be announced.

Memorial donations may be made to the family to help defer funeral cost in care of Keith Whitehead, 341 S. Lincoln Ave. Salem, OH 44460.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
