Karen Butler Medlin
Robertsville, Ohio - August 1, 2007 - Karen Butler Medlin, age 48, of 11070 Weimer Drive S.E., formerly of Lisbon and North Carolina, died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home.
She was born January 2, 1959 in Salem, daughter of Charles and Betty Heald Butler.
Karen had worked as a Drafting Engineer for Hafele America Co. in North Carolina for 17 years.
She was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her father and step mother Charles and Mickey Butler of Lisbon; three sisters Mrs. William (Teresa) Robison of Plain City, Mrs. Steven (Cindy) Lortz of Robertsville, and Mrs. Dave (Shari) Rowe of Loveland, OH; and a step brother James (Ellen) Betz of Port Charlotte, FL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Butler; a brother, Charles Butler, Jr. and a step brother, Scott Betz.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the St. Jacob's United Church of Christ, Leetonia with Pastor Jenna Brown and Reverend Stephen Broache officiating. Burial will be in East Carmel Cemetery.
Arrangements were with Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
