Karen L. (Lesher) Wharton

Rogers- Karen L. Wharton, age 73, of Rogers, died on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her home.

She was born on May 23, 1944 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late Arthur and Lovie Queen Lesher.

Karen Spent much of her life working as a homemaker.

Her husband, Rancy M. Wharton, whom she married on September 21, 1963, preceded her in death on January 16, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Marcum of Rogers; two sisters, Nancy Watson of Barberton, and Armeta Emreschak of Dravosburg, PA; a brother, Earl Lesher of East Palestine; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A time to celebrate Karen’s life and pay respects to her family will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from noon to 5:00 pm and Sunday, February 11, 2018 from noon to 5:00 pm at her home on Scotts Mill Rd., Rogers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
