Justina Louisa Kell
East Palestine- Justina Louisa Kell, age 91, of East Palestine, died on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
She was born on February 8, 1924, in New Waterford, a daughter of the late Allen and Louisa Landsberger Freed.
Justina was a lifetime area resident and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, East Palestine.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley L. Kell Sr., whom she married on November 30, 1946; three sons, Stanley L. Kell Jr., of Jacksonville, FL., John L. Kell of Orange Park, FL. and Col. Matthew L. Kell of Dayton, OH; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Justina was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta Carlson; two brothers, Earl J. Freed and Karl A. Freed and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, East Palestine with Father Christopher Cicero officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Palestine.
