Julia D. Converse

Leetonia – Julia D. Converse, 26, of Lower Elkton Road, died Monday afternoon, August 24, 2015, at Akron City Hospital.

Julia was born May 26, 1989 in Youngstown, a daughter of David R. Converse and the late Beverly A. Short Converse and had lived in this area most of her life.

She had been employed as a STNA at the Vista Center, Lisbon. Prior to that, she had worked at the St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center.

Besides her father, of Leetonia, she is survived by her fiancé, John Duesenberry of Canfield; a son, Jaxson Converse; and her maternal grandfather, Blaine Short of New Brighton, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend Basil Duesenberry officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Friday.
