Judy A. Householder, age 78, of Girard, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Aventura at Assumption Village, North Lima.
She was born on December 13, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Harry and Julia DeWitt DiVencenzo.
Judy, affectionately known as “Juds”, had worked as a waitress for Denny's Restaurant retiring in 1996 and worked as a hobby nail tech for several years. She was a past member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard and was an active donor with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Judy enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books, watching legal, crime and mystery shows, and had a passion for collecting teddy bears, particularly Coke brand teddy bears. Mostly, Judy loved her family. She absolutely adored her granddaughter, Marlaya, and always looked forward to family gatherings. She is remembered as a very kind and giving person who had an open door and an open heart. Judy will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" (Leanne) Householder of Washingtonville; her granddaughter, Marlaya Householder of Washingtonville; a brother, Anthony "Tony" (Ruth) DiVencenzo of Girard; a sister-in-law, Rosann DiVencenzo of Lordstown, and by many other extended family members.
Judy was preceded in death by three brothers, Leontino "Leo" DiVencenzo, Harry DiVencenzo and David DiVencenzo.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
Services will be held on Thursday, at 6:00 pm, at the funeral home, with her son, Robert “Bob” Householder officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
