John W. Rohrer

Leetonia - John W. Rohrer, age 75, of Leetonia, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center, Salem.

He was born on June 1, 1949, in Salem, son of the late Walter and Mary Raddick Rohrer.

John had worked as a die maker for General Motors, Lordstown and obtained an associate’s degree from Kent State University.  He was a member of the Leetonia Sportsman's Club and enjoyed hunting, gardening and was an outdoorsman of all sorts.

John is survived by his wife, Linda Rohrer, whom he married on July 11, 2015; two daughters, Heather McCarthy of Las Vegas, NV, and Holly Rohrer of Las Vegas, NV; two granddaughters, Charlee and Ella; a sister, Kathy Rohrer of Leetonia; a stepdaughter, Lola (Armen) Abkarjan; a stepson, Bert (Jenna) Hayes; six step grandchildren and one step great grandson.

Per his request, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
