Columbiana-May 2, 2012- John L. "Jack" Mango, 58, of Columbiana, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, suddenly at Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.
Jack was born May 12, 1953 in Salem, a son of Patrick and Dorothy Ewing Mango and had lived in this area all of his life.
He was a machinist for Alloy Machine in Columbiana for many years. He was a member of the Italian American Club of Leetonia and had been an assistant coach for the Leetonia High School football team.
Jack was devoted to his family and is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Patrick Mango of Columbiana; his wife, Amy Mango of Washingtonville; a daughter, Carli Mango of Columbiana; a son, Payton Mango of Washingtonville; two sisters, Regina (Tom) Kiliany of Leetonia and Christine (Brad) Wilson of Hanoverton; two brothers, Patrick Mango of Salem and Nicholas (Doris) Mango of Leetonia; and his beloved grandson, Caden Banner; as well as fifteen nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held Wednesday. Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia is handling the arrangements.
