John Lee Hall
Leetonia,OH-John Lee "Jack" Hall, 64, of 382 Somer Street, died at 2:05 a.m. Friday, July 09, 2010 at his home with his family at his bedside.
Jack was born May 4, 1946 in Leetonia, a son of the late John D. and Alberta Barnes Hall and had lived in this area all of his life. He had been a heavy equipment operator, last working with Mike Pusateri Excavating of East Liverpool, retiring in 2003.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia and the Operating Engineers Local 66. He was always available to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Mae Winters, whom he married August 6, 1966; two daughters, Beth (Gary) Hall-Soupal of Leetonia and Monica (Kevin) Janiak of Hartville; a son, John R. Hall of Leetonia; a granddaughter, Katie Soupal; and his granddogs, Misty and Abby.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Teresa Smolka officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday.
