Joanne Grate

Columbiana - Joanne Grate, age 78, of Columbiana, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Windsor House at Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

She was born on May 8, 1946, in Poland, daughter of the late Charles and Nan Coalmer Wilson.

Joanne had worked as a landscaper and a waitress at Eat N’ Park in Boardman for 30 years, she enjoyed gardening and was an excellent dancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald H. Grate, Sr., in January of 2007, her step-son Ronald H. Grate, Jr. in December of 2006, as well as her brother, Ronald Wilson in 2023.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Rochelle Cole of Columbiana; son, Douglas (Jennifer) Cole of Miamisburg; three grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan and Kassandria and a great granddaughter, Kayleigh.
