JoAnn Musser, age 75, of East Palestine, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Hospice House, Poland after a long battle with kidney disease.
She was born on August 13, 1949, in Salem, daughter of the late Joe Depillo, Bernice Horn Depillo Boyer and her stepfather Loyd Boyer.
JoAnn took great pride in her job as a bus driver for East Palestine Schools for 22 years and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, East Palestine. She enjoyed being outside working in the garden, driving the skid loader, mowing the grass and being in the woods. JoAnn also had horses and loved to go camping, but more than anything she loved her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Her husband, Raymond "Pete" Musser, whom she married on November 26, 1966, preceded her in death on, April 15, 2022.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Joseph (Michelle) Musser of East Palestine; two grandsons, Brady Musser and Joshua Musser; a brother, Joe (Patty) Depillo and a sister, Connie (Wayne) Booksing.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Pastor Pam Price officiating.
