Jeffrey L. Mclaughlin

New Waterford - Jeffrey L. McLaughlin, age 72, of New Waterford, died on Monday, February 17, 2025, at his home in New Waterford.

He was born on January 1, 1953, in Salem, son of the late Kenneth and Ramona Ward McLaughlin.

Throughout his life Jeffrey had worked for Adamson Tank Co. in East Palestine, NRM in Leetonia, the Village of New Waterford and WTI Heritage in East Liverpool. He also coached high school, Jr. high school and Little Rebel football and girls softball at Crestview Schools.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Linda Sargent McLaughlin, whom he married on July 1, 1978; daughter, Molly (Steve Tyler) McLaughlin of Cleveland; son, J. P. (Michelle) McLaughlin of Youngstown, brother, Doug (June) McLaughlin of Negley and his kitties, Baxter, Maria and Butters.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Carol Robb officiating.
