Jeffrey Lee Burbick

Jeffrey Lee Burbick, age 41, of 81 Ray Avenue died at 5:00 a.m. Monday at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1965 in Youngstown, son of Harry L. and Patricia Reesh Burbick.

He grew up in Columbiana and lived throughout Ohio and then most recently in Bolton, England for his job.

He graduated valedictorian from Columbiana High School in 1983. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati magna cum laude receiving his BA in Operations Management in 1988 and received outstanding business student of the year.

He had been a production manager Ford Motor Company and then a plant manager for Tenneco Automotive. While working for Tenneco he was nominated by his peers and was a recipient of the Shadow Award.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jill Smith whom he married June 11, 1994; his father of Columbiana; three sons, Zachary T. Smith of Cincinnati, Adam T. Burbick and William D. Burbick both of the home; three brothers, Kevin S. Burbick of North Grafton, MA, David H. Burbick of Cincinnati, and Thomas J. Burbick of Columbiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Congemi officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
