Jeanne L. Lalley

East Palestine-Jeanne L. Lalley, 55 passed away Thursday evening, November 30, 2017 at her home following a long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Lalley was born March 18, 1962 in Salem, a daughter of the late Joseph "Buzz" and Rhea "Toots" Gotthardt Robson and had lived in this area all of her life.

Jeanne was a cosmetologist and worked as a waitress at the Shamrock in East Palestine and Heck's in Columbiana. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the East Palestine Moose Lodge #467.

She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Lalley, whom she married August 22, 1999; her son, Joseph Springer of East Palestine; two step-daughters, Julie (Scott) Keslar of Hebron, KY and Jennah (Jeff) Hahnel of Union, KY; a grandson, Caleb Springer; three step-grandchildren, Haley, Taylor and Lindsay Keslar; two sisters, Lynn (Michael) Reed of East Palestine and Wendy Robson of Volant; three nieces, Jennifer Fahs, Jaime Herriott and Melissa Smoker; a nephew, Christopher Herriott; and her special sister-in law, neighbors and friends who helped and visited often, Karen Montgomery, Ted Frederick, Dave Coots and Cliff and Sandy Dilling.

Following her request, no services are being observed.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
