Columbiana March 7, 2004 - Jean L. Riley, age 79, of formerly of North Pearl Street died at 11:05 p.m. Sunday Parkside Health Care Center at Columbiana.
She was born September 28, 1924 in Salineville, daughter of William Henry and Edna Dorrance Johnson. She had lived in Columbiana since 1995 coming from Lexington Kentucky.
Mrs. Riley graduated in 1942 from Salineville High School and attended a number of art schools.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Columbiana. Her husband, Harry C. Riley whom she married November 28, 1980, preceded her in death December 9, 1994.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Jean) Clark of Piqua; a daughter in-law, Deborah Clark of Woodbridge, Virginia; a sister, Lucille Biggs of Mission Viejo, CA; a brother, Wilbur Johnson of Minerva, and two grandsons, Robert Hamilton Clark, II of Woodbridge, Virginia and Benjamin Ryan Clark of Elkins, West Virginia.
A son, Robert Timothy Clark; a sister, Doris Johnson; and two brothers, her twin, Dean Johnson and Kenneth Johnson, Sr, preceded her in death.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert G. McCreight officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbiana Cemetery.
Friends may call one half hour prior to the funeral.
